About Us

John Halvorson has owned and managed Rosedale Builders since 1982. He not only remodels homes for clients, but also spends any spare time he has renovating his Portland foursquare home up on Mt. Tabor that came complete with flowery wallpaper and fuchsia-colored walls.

John has a team of builders he works with to complete each job, and ensures he hires only top notch, reliable and respectful subcontractors. For John, each job is a partnership with the client—from determining what they client wants to get done, to figuring out the best way to do it.
